This position may be hired at the Project Manager, Sr or Project Manager level. The level will be determined in accordance with the incumbent?s skillset and in relation to the requirements of position.
This position is located onsite in Virginia Beach, VA
Project Manager Sr.
The Project Manager , Sr . manages multiple projects of varying sizes and duration including large projects from a global perspective that incorporates both the business and technical aspects of the project.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
+ Applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems.
+ In addition to all responsibilities of a project manager this position coaches and mentors project team members; mentors other project managers; determines project scope; develops resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans; develops training plans; develops requirements documents; develops project approval matrix; identifies project team training and tool needs; defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for services and products; coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms; defines quality gates for each project methodology phase; defines critical success factors; and establishes and manages the project warranty period as assigned.
Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting member and marketing communications by managing and supporting projects from beginning to end.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
+ Provides strategic counsel on all communication format best practices and tactics that align with project objectives/goals.
+ Develops communication strategy and planning for assigned projects.
+ Develops functional specifications and requirement documents.
+ Develops and manages project timelines.
+ Collaborates with subject matter experts, internal and external staff, designers and writers to ensure functional specifications and document requirements are met.
+ Drafts and maintains project budgets.
+ Defines critical success factors
+ Liaises with the Government Business PMO and other internal/external customers to meet marketing and member communications goals within timelines and Regulatory requirements.
+ Tracks all marketing and member communications deliverables required for new Medicaid product or market implementations, rebranding, alliance relationships, rebids, and contract amendments

Project Manager Sr.
+ Requires a BA/BS in a related field; Minimum of 5 years professional project management experience required during which at least 3 years are spent leading and directing project tasks, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
