Job DescriptionThe Ultrasound Technologist III - Advanced Certification performs medical sonographic procedures, produces ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians, and cares for patients.
QualificationsRequired Education:
Associates Degree or completed Certification Program in Ultrasonography, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Radiology upon hire.
At least twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education annuallyPreferred Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiography Program, Ultrasound Program, or equivalent.
ARDMS or ARRT (S)Required
Experience:
At least three (3) years of ultrasound experienceRequired Certifications and Licensures:
Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in two (2) specialties.
ARRT specialties include certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiation Therapy, and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Sonography.
ARDMS specialties include Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Musculoskeletal Sonography R(MSK), and/or Registered Physicians in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
CPR Certification from American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Cpr Diagnostic Medical Sonography Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
